MicroStrategy will officially join the NASDAQ 100 index on December 23. The NASDAQ 100 index consists of the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the NASDAQ stock market, with a history dating back to January 1985. The NASDAQ 100 index serves as the basis for the Invesco QQQ Trust (NASDAQ: QQQ), aiming to provide investment results that correspond to the performance of the NASDAQ 100 index (before fees). Additionally, options, futures, and structured products based on the NASDAQ 100 index and Invesco QQQ Trust are traded on multiple exchanges. MicroStrategy joining this index means its stock will be acquired by several major exchange-traded funds, including the high-volume QQQ ETF. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart predicts that once MSTR stock is included in this index, the ETF will purchase at least $2.1 billion of MSTR stock.
The Korean cryptocurrency exchange Aprobit will cease operations, with virtual asset trading supported until December 23 at 11:00, and withdrawals supported until December 23 at 18:00.
Project progress
The Aligned Foundation will distribute ALIGN tokens to token holders of Mina, EigenLayer, and Ethereum zk L2s, with user registration ending on December 23, 2024. The specific eligibility requirement is that the wallet address must hold at least $50 worth of Mina (MINA), Starknet (STRK), Polygon (POL), EigenLayer (EIGEN), ZKsync (ZK), Scroll (SCROLL), or Taiko (TKO) at the historical lowest price of the respective tokens.
The DeSci project Pump Science will announce new partnerships, prepare for mouse experiments, and develop protocols on December 24.

Binance will delist Kaon (AKRO), former Akropolis, Bluzelle (BLZ), and WazirX (WRX) on December 25 at 11:00.

The Sui lending protocol Scallop will conduct a Christmas airdrop event from December 14 to December 26. Users who meet the criteria of borrowing more than $1,000 or holding more than 1,000 veSCA during this period can participate in sharing 1 million SCA tokens.

According to Token Unlocks data, this week tokens such as IMX, ADA, and ENA will undergo significant one-time unlocks.
Ethena (ENA) will unlock approximately 12.86 million tokens on December 25 at 15:00, worth about $13.22 million, accounting for 0.44% of the circulation.
Cardano (ADA) will unlock approximately 18.53 million tokens on December 26 at 8:00, worth about $16.30 million, accounting for 0.05% of the circulation.
Immutable (IMX) will unlock 24.52 million tokens on December 27 at 8:00, worth about $32.12 million, accounting for 1.45% of the circulation.
Beldex (BDX) will unlock 330 million tokens on December 30 at 8:00, worth about $25.5 million, accounting for 4.78% of the circulation.

Proposal voting
The DeSci project BIO Protocol 'Enable transferability of BIO tokens' voting deadline is December 23. If the proposal passes, BIO will become a liquid asset within 14 days, initially on the ETH mainnet, with support for more chains to follow.
The Lido community vote on updating the Ethereum standard node operator agreement will end on December 24, and will be updated according to the currently effective Ethereum Lido (LoE) validator exit policy 1.0 (snapshot) to the proposed validator exit standard node operator agreement (SNOP) 2.0.
The Lido Alliance grant funding proposal vote will end on December 24, with a total budget request of 300,000 DAI for running the Alliance BORG 2025 in 2025.
The proposal on whether Uniswap should provide a $250,000 incentive for Sonic's $500,000 commitment will end on December 25.
