Today's Funds 536 U, December 23, 2024

On the 21st, my funds were still 1032 U, yesterday 405 U, today 536 U. The main reason is that I became complacent with USUAL operations; I thought USUAL was an ATM, that I could keep stepping on the left foot and right foot and it would keep rising. However, I didn't anticipate that USUAL could also be a meat grinder, so I lost 50% of my funds on a contract in one day. Only when the situation became severe and I faced liquidation did I regret it, beating my thighs in frustration.

Yesterday, I also let go of the obsession with guaranteed wins. This capital was originally earned through a contract experience coupon worth 410 U from Binance. The account $BTC has been declining these days. As a perpetual long holder, it’s already a miracle that I am still alive; what more could I want?

Last night, I met my first friend in the crypto circle. This is the only friend I have added since I started writing my diary. He lent me 15,000 RMB, with a repayment period of three months. I am grateful for his trust in me. Many times, it is easy to repay money, but repaying a favor is difficult. I will remember this favor, as friends who can lend you money are few these days.

The friend who lent me money told me not to open copy trades. Buddhism emphasizes cause and effect. I have always been writing this diary to review my trades; actually, I used to open copy trades more for real trading purposes. I once consulted Binance customer service about whether opening copy trades was against the rules and received feedback that I must comply with Binance's rules.

Strangely, this time when I had money, I didn’t rush to the table like a gambler as before; it seems I have finally matured a bit.

Maybe when I see good opportunities in the market, I will still open copy trades, but when I do, everyone must not follow my trades. I am not doing well. In fact, truly smart people treat my diary as a mirror and improve their trading strategies; that is the best choice.

Today, I hold $USUAL coins, but the best strategy today should be to stay out of the market, waiting for a rebound before entering to pick up money. There is no need to go out to fish when the winds are high and the waves are big.
