A Red Notice is a formal warning issued to Interpol member countries, informing them that a valid national arrest warrant has been issued for an individual. If the wanted person is detained in another country, this notice typically triggers extradition proceedings. The European law enforcement agency Europol's website indicates that Finland has issued an arrest warrant for Schueler on charges of tax evasion amounting to "hundreds of millions of euros" and allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old girl. The website states: "Schueler has failed to submit corporate tax returns for many years and has not filled out income information on pre-filled personal tax returns... the total amount of tax evasion reaches hundreds of millions of euros." The site also describes the assault allegations against Schueler, claiming he assaulted a 16-year-old girl. (The Block) Previously, news from September indicated that Richard Schueler (also known as Richard Heart), founder of Hex and PulseChain, is currently under criminal investigation in Finland for alleged serious tax evasion and assault. Helsinki police stated that Schueler, residing in Helsinki, is suspected of evading hundreds of millions of euros in taxes. Police believe that Schueler created, launched, and promoted his cryptocurrency project in Finland, with marketing efforts reaching globally. It is reported that the alleged tax evasion occurred between June 2, 2020, and April 2, 2024, while another assault allegation occurred between February 16 and 17, 2021. Schueler is also facing charges from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for illegally raising over $1 billion.
