These traders aim to profit from small price movements by executing numerous short-term trades throughout the day 1 Scalpers typically hold positions for a few minutes and hours.
2. Day Traders:
Day traders open and close positions within the same trading day 1.
They capitalize on intraday price fluctuations and may use a mix of technical and fundamental analysis.
3. Swing Traders: Swing traders hold positions for several days to a few weeks, seeking to profit from short to medium-term price trends. They may use both technical and fundamental analysis to identify potential entry and exit points.
4. Position Traders:
Position traders take a long-term approach, holding positions for weeks, months, or even years. They aim to capitalize on significant price trends and primarily rely on fundamental analysis to make trading decisions.
