PANews reported on December 20 that Ethereum re-staking protocol EigenLayer announced on the X platform that the Slashing (penalty mechanism) test network has been officially launched. The proposed protocol upgrade (ELIP-002) introduced a penalty mechanism, which is a key tool for AVS to execute cryptoeconomic commitments.
