🎄🧑🎄As Christmas approaches, there are extreme market conditions that we constantly remind everyone to be aware of. What caught us off guard was that we initially thought that altcoins would experience a surge before a major drop, but this time, waiting for Godot did not happen. During the surge of Bitcoin above 100,000, altcoins did not follow suit or make up for losses; they directly followed Bitcoin's decline and plunged into the depths. The decline has exceeded that of Bitcoin across the board, with some even experiencing multiple declines, while Bitcoin at least had a surge before dropping. This time, the bulls were thoroughly washed out!
Then there's the question everyone's concerned about: how low will Bitcoin drop? A few days ago, there was a discussion on the indicators, and a seasoned friend of mine believes it could drop to 88,000, with extremes reaching 76,000. I think it will hold around 90,000, but currently, my prediction might be too optimistic, just for reference. The Bitcoin market seems relatively clear, but altcoins currently show no signs of a bottom. After trying out futures contracts twice, the results switched from long to short and from loss to profit. We still need to be cautious; in such market conditions, we can't just hold on stubbornly. Those who timely reversed to short in the comments section have managed to make their money back.
This round of spot trading has been quite impactful; I thought it was just a minor dip, so I didn't escape in time, and in three days, several tens of thousands evaporated while I relied on futures to recover some. To be honest, I prefer trading futures; they allow for timely profits, and the fruits of labor are truly ours. If you don't escape in spot trading, then it's not really yours, so spot trading isn't necessarily lower risk. When trading futures, we must rely on strict self-discipline, entering and exiting at short intervals, which can be safe. After all, being flexible in both long and short positions provides opportunities for significant profits, even in extreme market conditions. Holding both spot and futures is mature; let's continue to refine our skills. It's a bit cold these days, let's keep warm and support each other. 🤝🍀
