On December 18, 2024, the #IOST Japan Community Annual Meeting was held at XEX ATAGO GREEN HILLS in Tokyo. The venue is located near Tokyo Tower, with a magnificent view of the city skyline. The event was hosted by OKJ and Aptos, and co-organized by IOST and Mask. IOST CEO Blake also attended the event.
This annual meeting brought together more than 100 Web3 industry elites from around the world, including representatives from various project communities, executives from cryptocurrency exchanges, leaders in Japan's Web3 industry, and representatives from internationally renowned projects.
CryptoBaby, a well-known influencer in the Japanese cryptocurrency space, served as the host of the event. OKJ COO Mr. Hakkaku first gave an opening speech, reviewing OKJ’s achievements in 2024 and sharing their vision for 2025.
Later, in the following project exchange session, Thomas from Aptos, Yan from Mask Network, and Blake from IOST spoke successively. Blake highlighted IOST’s breakthrough progress in the field of Web3 payment solutions and shared the exciting community activity plan to be launched in 2025.
Finally, Thomas from Aptos and Mr. Hakkaku from OKJ raised their glasses together to thank the Web3 community for its various activities and positive contributions in 2024.
After the toast, participants actively communicated while enjoying Tokyo's delicious food and beautiful scenery, and had a relaxing and enjoyable time.
