Odaily Planet Daily News: Australian scientist Craig Wright, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, has been found in contempt of court and sentenced to 12 months in prison, with a two-year probation. It is reported that he appeared in court via video link, refused to disclose his exact location, but stated that he would appeal. Previously, Wright initiated a £90 billion 'lawsuit' involving intellectual property rights. In March of this year, a UK judge ruled that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. The Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) first filed a lawsuit against Wright in April, attempting to prevent him from claiming copyright over the Bitcoin white paper and database. During the trial, two key figures testified, including Adam Back, a pioneer of the proof-of-work consensus system for Bitcoin.
