Blockaid: About 59% of new tokens issued in 2024 will be malicious
According to the CoinDesk report, the latest report from the <Block>chain</Block> security company <Block>Blockaid</Block> shows that about 59% of new tokens issued in 2024 have malicious nature, of which <Block>rug</Block>-pull fraud accounts for 27% of malicious tokens. In addition, data from the <Block>Blockaid</Block> on-chain detection and response (ODR) platform shows that the loss caused by cryptocurrency hacking and fraud in 2024 has dropped significantly to $1.4 billion, a significant decrease compared to the $5.6 billion loss reported by the FBI in 2023.
