Foresight News reports that the cryptocurrency open patent alliance COPA has once again taken Craig Wright to court, accusing him of contempt of court. COPA believes that a judge previously ruled in March to prohibit Craig Wright from pursuing lawsuits related to his claims of being Satoshi Nakamoto. However, in October, Craig Wright attempted to file a lawsuit for £900 million ($1.1 billion) related to intellectual property concerning the Bitcoin system, which amounts to contempt of court. The two-day trial will conclude later this Thursday. Court documents show that COPA seeks an initial 18-month prison sentence for Craig Wright, with supporters including Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.
