Deep Tide TechFlow News, December 19, according to Cointelegraph, Sky co-founder Rune Christensen stated in a year-end update that more effort will be invested in fully migrating MKR to SKY by 2025, partly to help eliminate the confusion between MKR and SKY tokens.
Christensen said that this will not put MKR token holders at risk of losing funds, 'On the contrary, the new proposal to be put forward will require migration in order to gain usability from the tokens.'
Christensen stated that he would share updates and more details about the migration and conversion of MKR to SKY sometime in 2025. He added, 'Our goal is to ensure that CoinGecko and exchanges only support SKY, while MKR is just a traditional wrapper, with each MKR representing 24,000 SKY.'
