Due to a delay in updating token information for Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) by data provider CoinMarketCap, the market capitalization and fully diluted valuation (FDV) data displayed for the project was not updated in time for its listing on Binance Spot. Binance notified the CMC team upon discovery and CMC promptly refreshed their data.
The transparent nature of blockchain means that on-chain data will be the most reliable and up-to-date. As an exchange platform, Binance uses third-party sources to display data for the convenience and reference of our users only.
As a gesture of goodwill, Binance has reserved 135,000,000 PENGU tokens for distribution to eligible users who purchased PENGU between 2024-12-17 14:00 (UTC) and 2024-12-17 14:37 (UTC). The airdrop distribution will be credited to eligible users' accounts within 72 hours.
Airdrop Details:
Transaction snapshot time: 2024-12-17 14:00 (UTC) to 2024-12-17 14:37 (UTC)
Eligible Airdrop Users: Users who purchased PENGU on the Binance Spot market (excluding project market makers and VIP 4 - 9 users).
Airdrop Rules: Binance will airdrop 135,000,000 $PENGU to eligible users who purchased PENGU on Binance Spot during the trading snapshot based on their spot buying volume.
For example, User A bought 10 $PENGU at 2024-12-17 14:10 (UTC) and sold all his PENGU at 2024-12-17 14:47 (UTC). The number of PENGU tokens he can receive will be:
(10 / Total PENGU purchased by all eligible users during the transaction snapshot period) * 135,000,000 PENGU
