According to Techcrunch, AI Agent startup /dev/agents has completed a $56 million seed round financing, with a valuation of $500 million. This round of financing was led by Index Ventures and Alphabet's independent growth fund CapitalG, with participation from Conviction Capital and several tech leaders including OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy. /dev/agents was founded by a team of former Google executives, with co-founders including former Stripe CTO David Singleton and former Vice President of Android Product Management Hugo Barra. It is reported that the company plans to create an 'operating system' for the AI era, providing cross-device personalized interaction interfaces through a cloud platform and generative AI.
