AI Agent startup /dev/agents completes $56 million seed round financing at a valuation of $500 million, led by Index Ventures and CapitalG

On December 18, it was reported that the AI agent operating system platform /dev/agents, founded by former Stripe CTO David Singleton, completed a $56 million seed round financing at a valuation of $500 million. This round of financing was led by Index Ventures and CapitalG, with Conviction Capital participating. Many prominent tech leaders, including OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy, ScaleAI CEO Alexandr Wang, PaloAlto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora, and Android founder Andy Rubin, also participated in this round of financing. It is reported that /dev/agents aims to create the Android operating system for the AI era, providing specially optimized interfaces and protocols to establish new UI patterns and user data models.
