PANews December 17 news, according to the official blog, Sui Bridge has integrated Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), allowing users to directly transfer USDC stablecoins between Sui and eight other blockchains.
In addition to the newly added Sui, CCTP also supports secure one-to-one USDC transfers between Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Noble, OP Mainnet, Polygon PoS, and Solana. When transferring USDC across chains, users only need to pay transaction fees on the source chain and the target chain. CCTP will destroy the original USDC and mint new native USDC on the target chain. Since the value of USDC is pegged to the US dollar, CCTP does not require currency conversion.
