According to Bloomberg on December 17, executives in the digital asset industry are flocking to Mar-a-Lago to 'pilgrimage' and meet with the soon-to-be-returning President Donald Trump before his inauguration.
On Monday, Kris Marszalek, the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, met with Trump at this golf resort in Florida. Sources say the two discussed appointments related to the cryptocurrency sector, including positions in the financial sector, Congress, and the incoming administration, as well as appointments related to Bitcoin reserves.
A spokesperson for Crypto.com stated: 'We look forward to working with the new administration to establish and advance clear regulatory guidelines for the cryptocurrency industry, enabling the U.S. to become a global leader in the digital assets and innovation space.'
