Space entrepreneur Elon Musk is unlikely to get government security clearances if he applies for one, even as his company SpaceX launches military and spy agency payloads into orbit, according to a report Monday.

SpaceX lawyers have advised the billionaire, a close ally of Donald Trump who is set to join the incoming administration as an efficiency expert and recently became the first person to surpass $400 billion in personal wealth, not to seek top-level security clearances due to his personal interactions and contacts with foreign nationals, The Wall Street Journal reported.
