Will the price of Ethereum reach $15,937 by May 2025?

In addition to this bullish outlook, market expert VentureFounder also shared a more optimistic prediction, expecting ETH to maintain its bullish momentum over the next seven months and reach a historic high of $15,937 by May 2025.

VentureFounder relates this prediction to historical patterns, pointing out that the first quarter following a Bitcoin halving event typically triggers record surges. He further noted that Ethereum usually enjoys a year of strong performance after a halving event, the last of which occurred this past April.

This year's performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum has shown significant similarities to the past. Leading up to the Bitcoin halving, the cryptocurrency experienced a substantial rise, partly due to the approval of a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

At that time, Bitcoin's price reached a historic high of just over $70,000 in March. Despite the price trends being challenging in the second and third quarters, it subsequently rose by more than 50%, reaching a new record of $107,000.

Ethereum also experienced significant growth, achieving its strongest first-quarter performance in over three years, rising from $2,260 in February to nearly 100% in just 30 days. However, until recently, it remained below the $4,100 threshold, consistent with Bitcoin's growth trajectory.

Overall, VentureFounder's analysis, along with this year's price movements of Ethereum and Bitcoin, provides a solid foundation for believing the following: if the experts' predictions and previous patterns hold true, ETH could see a substantial increase in the coming months.

At the time of writing, ETH is attempting to consolidate around $4,014. This level is crucial for determining whether there will be further bullish momentum in the coming days or if there will be another test of price support.
