$PNUT Has it now become a currency without an owner like Dogecoin?
Mark Longo, the owner of the little squirrel, has launched a new coin called Justice and claims to be suing the PNUT community.
The community retaliated by stating they donated 50,000 bucks to Mark, but he turned around and sold the funds, claiming he decides who can enter. This makes PNUT the second meme coin, after CHILLGUY, to face copyright disputes.
Mark's dissatisfaction stems from the relatively small donation amount from the PNUT community, although he previously stated that the community earned millions from his story.
The PNUT community responded by stating they donated 50,000 bucks to Mark on November 24, but he sold the funds within minutes and used that to launch JUSTICE.
Many people stated that they support Peanut, not Mark. PNUT fans expressed their dissatisfaction with Mark's actions, believing that meme culture should belong to the community, not individuals.
