Mark Longo, owner of Peanut the Squirrel, has gone full legal nutcracker on Binance, accusing them of stealing his squirrel's likeness to promote the $PNUT

memecoin. 🥜

According to Longo, Peanut isn’t just any squirrel—it’s a trademarked icon for animal welfare and education since 2017. And now, it’s apparently moonlighting as a memecoin mascot without permission. Binance has until Dec. 31 to cease and desist, or face potential lawsuits with penalties up to $150,000 per infringement.  🧐

Meanwhile, PNUT is flying high with a $2.25 billion market cap, but who knew trademark fights could get so… squirrelly? 🐾

Legal experts warn this could set a precedent for IP rights in the memecoin world. Binance hasn’t responded yet—probably too busy trying to dodge falling acorns. 🌰

Moral of the story: Don’t mess with squirrels. They remember. 😂
