With crypto markets generally remaining optimistic heading into the year-end holidays, several free drops offer exciting opportunities to earn tokens without any initial capital.
Free distribution farmers are looking for leading campaigns backed by top-tier investors, and they have a long list to choose from.
Not you
Lisk launched a free airdrop campaign, announced on December 14, with a prize of nearly $15 million in Lisk tokens. The project boasts over 200,000 followers on X (formerly known as Twitter), including notable figures such as Circle founder Jeremy Allaire and crypto czar David Sacks.
Participants earn points by completing tasks, which are later converted into LSK tokens. Access to the campaign requires joining the guild and completing proof of humanity. Currently, only 15,000 participants have joined. Additionally, rewards can be boosted by completing super tasks, such as collaborating with more project partners.
polyhedral network
This is a potential free distribution, coming after Polychain Capital and Binance Labs led a fundraising campaign that raised $45.04 million. Other participants include Hashkey Capital, Animoca Brands, and OKX Ventures.
The project also launched a new network called EXPchain. Free airdrop participants who test this new network can qualify for another potential free airdrop from the project. Based on the project’s token economics, Polyhedra has allocated another 7% of tokens to the community, free airdrop, and marketing.
Although rewards for EXPchain activity are unlikely, it may be reasonable to test the network. The Polyhedra network also rewards ZKJ contributors by distributing Solana-based meme coins.
“We are initiating a community proposal to reward ZKJ contributors. We will distribute Solana memes to our community members with all distributed rewards paid for by our foundation,” said Polyhedra.
Mind Network
Mind Network, an FHE-based voting infrastructure that secures $15 billion in assets, plays a key role in enabling secure network consensus. Following a $12.50 million fundraising campaign backed by Binance Labs, Hashkey Capital, and Animoca Brands, Mind Network has announced its free distribution.
The project also launched the Citizen Z campaign, allowing participants to claim periodic crypto rewards in vFHE. Users can delegate to get maximum benefits in MindV tokens. It is worth noting that those who have previously participated in the Mind Network testnet may be eligible for a portion of the vFHE rewards. For others, vFHE can be earned by completing tasks on Galxe.
“If you actively participated in our testnet before June (including previous Testnet campaigns) — you are eligible for a certain amount of vFHE reward,” Mind Network said.
Rivalz Network
This blockchain infrastructure project has raised $26.96 million through multiple funding rounds. The funding rounds were led by Delphi Ventures, Magnus Capital, D1 Ventures, and Gate.io. According to the project, if you use NodeOps while participating in the Rivalz Network incentivized testnet, you are eligible for a free distribution from this project.
NodeOps shared: “To be eligible to claim Wave One NODE, you must be an existing NodeOps user. Tokens will be non-transferable until the mainnet launch. If you missed out on Wave One, don’t worry. Wave Two will introduce a new points system and exciting testnet opportunities, powered by the Atlas Network.”
Rivalz Network also announced the launch of 3 eras of the reward testnet, which will reach 5. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is expected to be in Q4 2024. The activities remain the same, so participants can use the initial proof. In addition, the project resets the points and converts them to RIZ tokens after the end of each era.
Superform
Superform is a decentralized finance (DeFi) project that has raised $9.5 million from Polychain Capital, Circle, and VanEck, among others. Angel investors include BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes and LayerZero Labs co-founder and CEO Brian Pellegrino.
It is also worth noting that the second season of the Superform Safari campaign has begun, where interested participants are asked to deposit into one of the vaults on Superform to earn CREDs (points).
The ad read: “The more you deposit - the more points you get. The campaign will run until April 20 [2025].”
Depending on how much CRED a participant collects by the end of the season, they may qualify for a SuperFren NFT.
Gasp
Gasp raised $10.60 million in a funding round led by Polychain Capital, among others. As of the latest round, the project was valued at $80 million. The free distribution status was confirmed, and with it, Gasp.xyz announced Gasp V3, the final beta version of the decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol.
Additionally, Gasp announced TGE on December 16. Before TGE, another campaign was launched on Galxe, where participants completed tasks to earn NFTs. This is the final activity before the free distribution.
Sahara AI
Blockchain infrastructure project Sahara AI is also among the best cryptocurrency giveaways to watch this week after announcing the launch of a new product on December 18. In this context, they have released a form that we can fill out to join the whitelist.
“Something big is happening on December 18,” Sahara AI said.
The waiting list model is just one of the first activities of the Sahara project. In the future, the project will launch a testnet, with the waiting list model likely to serve as a pass for the early stage of the testnet. The project boasts of raising up to $43 million from players like Polychain Capital, Pantera Capital, Binance Labs, and Sequoia Capital, among others.
Extra
GameFi’s XTER project is also a major free drop to watch for in the third week of December after launching a new campaign called The BeFriend AI web. The airdrop offers participants the chance to earn XTER tokens, with participation including inviting friends, interacting with the AI, and completing tasks for points.
The project noted: “Points will be converted into XTER tokens. The campaign will run until December 27.”
The developments come after Extrio raised $55 million in a fundraising campaign that included Binance Labs, Hashkey Capital, and Animoca Brands.
