BlockBeats news, on December 16th, according to an official announcement from Beam, with the passing of the Avalanche community proposal ACP-77, the Etna upgrade will be implemented soon, affecting all subnets, including the Beam Network.
After this Etna upgrade, the Beam Network will officially be referred to as a Layer 1 blockchain network, as it will free itself from more limitations of the Avalanche network while still enjoying its infrastructure.
