Altcoins should be held firmly; do not switch exchanges to chase the rise. You can add to your position by buying the dips on those you believe have more potential, as most have yet to start rising. The main players will find ways to drive prices down, creating a dull market, breaking through and then dropping again, making you exit the market.

The main trader must drive the price up; otherwise, they cannot distribute their chips. However, they definitely won’t let you make easy profits. If you don’t exit, they will drive the price down to make you despair.

When you see stagnation in price rise, decisively sell out. There’s no such thing as a slow rise without a pullback; constant divergence means this wave of thinking will certainly miss out. Avoid short-term trading unless you have a large capital. A 10% gain is significant; small capital should aim for at least 10-20x, and a maximum of 50x as a target. You must be a diamond-handed holder, holding on to your chips at low points for medium to long-term gains, aiming for large increases (generally targeting 20-30x with a daily rise of 50% or so) upon exiting. Do not think like those bloggers.

Bitcoin and altcoins are not strongly bound; just because Bitcoin peaks and is about to drop, it doesn’t mean that altcoins will necessarily drop afterwards. Spot trading will not lead to liquidation, allowing you to ignore the process and hold on until profit-taking, rather than engaging in swing trading for a few points. If you are willing to use 5-10% of your position to experiment with low-leverage contracts and get a feel for the operation, that’s fine.

Chasing highs and chasing rises have both upward and downward possibilities. Many who chased highs this time have seen their investments halved. The downside risk for those who chased lows won’t be particularly large. Selling depends on your patience and judgment. Do not chase highs; be brave enough to buy at low points (around a 20% drop in a day), and dare to take profits at high points. At least, it won’t let you incur losses.
