President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes as chairman of the US President's Advisory Council

Details: Nunes is a longtime Trump ally. He chaired the US House of Representatives Intelligence Committee during Trump's first term.

With the new appointment, Nunes will combine his position as CEO of Truth Social with his work on the Advisory Council.

Recall: The social network Truth Social was launched in January 2022, 13 months after Facebook and Twitter blocked Donald Trump's accounts in connection with the invasion of the US Congressional headquarters by his supporters.
