Well, Ripple is on the hype again: they issued 13 million RLUSD, and now the stablecoin with ambitions is ready to break into the market. There is approval from the NYDFS, on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum soon. And Justin Sun from Tron is already hinting that "maybe here too." Sounds like a standard "maybe, but not exactly." 😏
They want to tie RLUSD to the dollar, back it up with treasury bonds, and say that it will be an ideal tool for cross-border payments. Well, quite a revolution, right? Against the background of Tether and USDC with their huge market share, Ripple has clearly set its sights on it, but will it have enough strength to break through this market?
The stablecoin market is now almost $200 billion, but analysts are already predicting trillions by 2028. So Ripple seems to have a plan to squeeze into this pie. The only question is: will everyone be so eager to eat their RLUSD, or will it be "they wanted the best" again?
