According to the official records of the Japanese Senate 🇯🇵, a member of the Japanese Parliament, Mr. Satoshi Hamada, has just proposed to call Bitcoin a "national asset"

Mr. Satoshi Hamada noted that there are currently movements in Brazil 🇧🇷 and the United States 🇺🇸, where Treasury officials may soon begin to hold Bitcoin as a "strategic reserve asset."

Mr. Hamada continues to urge the Japanese government to "consider converting part of its foreign exchange reserves into digital currencies like Bitcoin."

He also added that the upcoming administration of Donald Trump will appoint someone called a "crypto czar" and explained that "similar movements are also taking place in Brazil."

Hamada represents a political party with only two seats in Parliament, but the sentiment is that Bitcoin holders should be acknowledged.
