Coinspeaker Valour Brings Crypto Innovation to Sweden with 20 New ETPs
Valour Inc, a leading digital asset technology company owned by DeFi Technologies, has announced the launch of 20 new exchange-traded products (ETPs) on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market.
According to the announcement on Thursday, December 12, the rollout marks Valour’s largest single-day introduction of ETPs, expanding the company’s total offerings on the stock exchange to 45.
A Game-Changing Moment for Spotlight
Valour started listing its crypto ETP on Spotlight Stock Market in June this year when the company opened up its platform to welcome the investment products. At the time, Valour only listed two crypto instruments, Core and Hedera HBAR $0.29 24h volatility: 3.9% Market cap: $11.07 B Vol. 24h: $1.60 B .
In less than six months, the collaboration has flourished, culminating in this landmark rollout of 20 new ETPs. The latest addition has brought the company’s listed products on Spotlight Stock Market to 45 and 60 on other European exchanges. Valour revealed that some of the ETPs represent world premieres in their respective categories.
Reflecting on the rapid growth, Anders Kumlin, CEO of Spotlight Stock Market, said the demand for digital assets related products has been on the rise.
“On June 25 this year, we were happy to launch our new ETP segment with Valour, who then listed two instruments for trade. Less than half a year later, we have 45 ETPs listed and note that the demand and interest for digital assets is ever-growing. The growth of the segment has been fantastic, and we look forward to keep offering investors innovative new assets together with Valour”, said Kumlin.
The newly launched ETPs include a mix of well-established assets such as Bitcoin BTC $100 404 24h volatility: 1.0% Market cap: $1.99 T Vol. 24h: $97.38 B and Ethereum ETH $3 882 24h volatility: 0.9% Market cap: $467.50 B Vol. 24h: $46.86 B , alongside emerging names like Sei, Render, and Aptos. According to the company, this diverse portfolio offers investors a unique chance to explore a wide spectrum of blockchain technologies, catering to varying investment appetites.
A Milestone for Valour
For Valour, the launch of the 20 ETPs signifies more than just numbers. According to Johanna Belitz, the company’s Head of Nordics, the addition of the new instruments is a historic step in the company’s journey toward its goal of launching 100 ETPs by the end of 2025.
“This milestone paves the way for our ambitious goal of reaching 100 ETPs by the end of 2025, underscoring our dedication to providing secure, regulated, and accessible pathways for digital asset investment. We are not just keeping pace with the rapidly evolving crypto market; we are leading the charge in bringing these opportunities to investors through regulated products on traditional exchanges,” said Johan Wattenström, Co-Founder of Valour.
Meanwhile, Valour’s ambitious vision extends beyond the European market. The company recently announced plans to expand its offerings to African investors through a partnership with the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The initiative, backed by SovFi, will introduce ETPs for popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Hedera to the African market.
In the UK, Valour made headlines in September 2024 by launching a physically backed Ethereum staking ETP on the London Stock Exchange. The company said the product enables institutional investors to earn staking rewards while gaining regulated, passive exposure to Ethereum.
