Sequentia co-founder claims to have compromised 69% of Dogecoin nodes through a serious vulnerability

BlockBeats news, on December 12, according to a report by Cointelegraph, Sequentia co-founder Andreas Kohl claimed he has compromised 69% of the Dogecoin network. Kohl stated that he performed this operation using an old laptop in El Salvador, which exploited a vulnerability discovered by researcher Tobias Ruck that caused nodes to crash.

According to data from Blockchair, there were 647 active nodes in Dogecoin before the vulnerability was exploited. As of the time of writing this article, Dogecoin only has 315 active nodes.
