ChainCatcher message, the Aave community has initiated a proposal vote for the ARFC titled 'Deploy Aave V3 on Linea'.
The proposal notes that by integrating with Linea, Aave can offer users more efficient transactions while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Ethereum mainnet. Linea is an Ethereum Layer 2 network powered by the zkEVM technology stack developed by Consensys, which integrates Consensys products such as MetaMask and Infura, potentially helping Aave expand its user base and enhance the accessibility of DeFi.
Additionally, the proposal plans to redistribute the airdrop provided by the Linea ecosystem to Aave users through liquidity mining, GHO secondary liquidity incentives, and other methods.
