1: The best situation in a bull market is to achieve zero cost. What does zero cost mean? For example, if you entered near comp71 earlier, with a maximum of 144, and if at 140 you liquidated your entire position, what remains is pure profit – this is what is meant by zero cost.
During these days of adjustment, you are completely unperturbed; it doesn’t hurt you, and you won’t be anxious or impulsively make mistakes. In simple terms, if the price rises, you still have profits on the table, everyone is happy; if it falls, there’s no anxiety, and your principal is intact. This is the advantage of zero cost.
2: High-quality altcoins should never be sold out completely. Low-cost options will rarely give you a second chance to re-enter, except in cases of black swan events.
For example, our earlier FET at 1.3, DASH at 35, PEPE at 115, and LPT at 11; without significant negative news, it’s nearly impossible to see such low prices again. If you sold everything last week, that would be quite a pity. As long as your assets are decent, it’s just a matter of time before they take off in the current bull market environment. Selling at the top is one of the most painful situations in a bull market. To prevent this, you should keep some core holdings and strive for zero cost holding. Learn to sell in batches and learn to hold. It sounds simple, but I have strictly followed this trading system for three years. It’s not hard to put into practice; the hard part is execution.
No one has infinite bullets; doubling down on positions and continuing to chase the next hot trend requires reasonable planning to go further.
3: When fully liquidating, always start by clearing half of your position before liquidating the rest, rather than selling everything at once. No one can accurately pinpoint the market's peak or bottom. Consider the first two points; when to sell everything, I believe you will have an answer in your mind!
In the crypto world, being able to sell is essential to reap the rewards. Timing your exit at the top is crucial during a bull market. Once a trend is established, regardless of where you bought in, it’s just a matter of time before it rises. There are many signals indicating the top, such as frequent trending on hot searches, or the speculative index of altcoins reaching new highs or historical peaks. Using these data points to sell may not guarantee you the highest price, but looking back, it is highly likely to be a temporary peak.
The challenge lies in execution; you must take action to navigate the entire bull market!
