According to PANews, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, announced on social media platform X that Bitcoin DeFi is a key mission on the roadmap for InputOutput Global (IOG) to pursue by 2025. He has set a goal for the team to create a significant demonstration by May 2025, ahead of the Bitcoin 2025 conference.
Hoskinson revealed plans to collaborate with FairGateLabs, a multi-party computation protocol, to achieve these objectives. The partnership is expected to extend to community projects and wallets. Although no specific timeline for a minimum viable product (MVP) has been provided, Hoskinson acknowledged that there is still substantial work to be done.
