How can I break free from my losses and cut them in time?
Having gone through market ups and downs, I'll share my experiences:
Three situations:
1. Stuck at a high position
There are two paths: either wait for the market to rebound and seize the opportunity to withdraw quickly; or sell some at a high price to reduce your position.
Once the market changes direction, immediately cut your losses on the stuck positions without hesitation, and make a reverse operation by buying the opposite position to recover some of your losses.
2. Stuck at a mid-level position
First, don’t rush; don’t be hasty in cutting your losses! The key is to observe how the market moves next. Once an opportunity arises, you can slightly reduce your stuck position.
Then, based on the market trend and technical analysis, find a good time to increase your position a bit. Gradually recover your losses.
3. Stuck at a low position
One word: wait!
Wait for the market to pull back and look for opportunities to break free, or reduce your position when the price is low.
When the market changes, you must quickly cut losses on the stuck positions; don’t linger any longer.
Then reverse your operation, buy the opposite, and try to recover your previous losses as much as possible.
