In Ukraine, the first stage of the exchange of information on bank accounts with 123 countries within the framework of the CRS agreement took place
Ukraine received data on 500,000 accounts in which more than 200,000 euros are stored. There are millions of Ukrainian refugees abroad, so the issue of information exchange after the start of a full-scale war has become urgent.
In theory, the Ukrainian tax office can, upon discovering undeclared income, for example, from a deposit, request to declare and pay additional taxes.
