U.S. President-elect Donald Trump announced a major appointment today: he appointed former PayPal Chief Operating Officer David Sacks as the "White House A.I. & Crypto Czar", responsible for formulating and leading U.S. policies in the fields of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency.
Trump said David Sacks will "create a legal framework that meets the regulatory clarity the cryptocurrency industry has long needed and will enable this industry to flourish in the United States."
