CZ and Coinbase CEO comment on Bitcoin: “Everything is cheaper now”

Well-known names in the crypto world also commented on Bitcoin’s rise to $100,000. Former Binance CEO CZ said, “I still have the same amount of Bitcoin,” while Coinbase CEO Armstrong reminded us of 2012.

As Bitcoin exceeded $100,000 for the first time in its 16-year history, well-known names in the crypto world also evaluated this price movement. Changpeng Zhao, former CEO of the world’s largest stock exchange Binance, and Brian Armstrong, CEO of the US’s largest crypto platform Coinbase, did not remain indifferent to the surpassing of $100,000.

CZ: Everything is cheaper now

CZ, who ended his prison life in the US in September and later returned to Dubai, touched on the importance of increasing the amount of Bitcoin and said the following:

“Everyone says, ‘You made a lot of money from Bitcoin, congratulations.’ I tell them, ‘Not much. I still have the same number of Bitcoins. But everything has become cheaper for me.’

“If you had invested $100, it would have become $1.5 million.”

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong emphasized the speed and power of Bitcoin’s rise:

“If you had bought $100 worth of Bitcoin when Coinbase was founded in 2012, that money would have a value of $1.5 million today. If you were still holding that $100 in paper money, its purchasing power would be $73 today.

Bitcoin is the best performing asset of the last 12 years. We are also still in the early stages.

All governments, and especially those struggling with inflation, should create a Bitcoin strategic reserve.”$BTC $ETH $BNB
