Bitcoin surpassed the $100,000 mark for the first time as growth continues -CoinJournal

#Bitcoin hit new all-time highs, hitting the $100,000 mark for the first time, and has been on the rise since the beginning of May 11.

The rise in bitcoin's price is due to several factors, but Donald Trump's victory in last month's presidential election has given the asset a huge boost. It didn't hurt that Trump announced Paul Atkins as the next chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission in favor of the #cryptocurrency .

Trump also nominated Scott Bessent and Howard Lutnick as US Treasury and Commerce Secretaries.

Speaking to the X website, Michael Saylor, CEO of #MicroStrategy , said: There will be 100,000 parties.
