Ki Young Ju, the CEO of the analytical platform CryptoQuant, stated that the upcoming altcoin season will be quite strange and complicated. In his opinion, altcoins have practically stopped moving along with Bitcoin.

The expert added that market sentiments are good, but he lacks fresh liquidity. Bitcoin has begun to diverge from the rest of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and is forming its own based on traditional instruments such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs), MicroStrategy (MSTR) stocks, investment funds, and the like, the analyst pointed out.

In this situation, it is impossible to connect Bitcoin with other cryptocurrencies in the same market. Ki Young Ju emphasized that only a few altcoins have started to show independent trends and attract new liquidity.

According to the expert, altcoins have only two options: either they will continue to follow the first cryptocurrency, or they will have to form an ecosystem of internet money using stablecoins for this purpose.

According to Ki Young Ju, investors now need to find a coin that can do one of two things and hold it in their balances for the long term.
