Russian President Putin: "No one can ban Bitcoin"
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Bitcoin and digital assets cannot be completely banned and predicted their sustainable development. At the Investment Forum in Moscow, he said: "No one, including countries, can prevent the development of Bitcoin and digital assets," emphasizing that this is a global trend that nations need to adapt to and take advantage of.
Putin also mentioned that while existing financial regulations need to be updated to align with innovations, completely blocking or banning Bitcoin is not feasible. This comes amid Russia's efforts to legalize cryptocurrency through new tax laws and legal regulations, confirming cryptocurrency as legal assets and exempting value-added tax for transactions related to them.
