Sandwich attack "rampant" on BNB Chain, implicating $1.5 billion in transactions

The Sandwich attack on BNB Chain has significantly increased in November, with 35.5% of blocks affected, equivalent to a total transaction volume of up to $1.5 billion from around 43,400 transactions in just one day. This action allows the attacker to place a buy order before and a sell order immediately after the victim's order, profiting from the price difference between the two transactions. This increase coincides with the strong growth of BNB, which has risen more than 33% in the past 30 days and reached a price of about $656.

This situation shows a stark contrast between BNB Chain and Ethereum, as the percentage of blocks affected by the Sandwich attack on Ethereum has decreased from 62.9% to 40.2% since July. This reflects that BNB Chain needs to enhance security and develop more effective solutions to protect users from such attacks in the future.
