XRP was stable for three years, but suddenly multiplied seven times in just three months, as if announcing to the world: even the big guys can take off! Those familiar with the old coin circle should recognize this familiar face, XRP. Remember when Sun Yuchen was the leader of Ripple in China? Every four years he would take a big slice, and it was ruthless.
Newcomers might not know what XRP is and why it can surge so much. In fact, XRP is the original currency on the XRP ledger that has existed since 2012, initially created for convenient payments. Back then, international transfers took several days, but XRP only took a few seconds, making it a pioneer in cryptocurrency.
XRP was once at its peak, with a market cap reaching 238 billion USD, surpassing Bitcoin and becoming the leader in cryptocurrency. At that time, XRP was truly invincible. The recent price surge has several reasons. They advocate for dollar priority, especially stablecoins pegged to the dollar and global payments. Additionally, with financial backing and effort, XRP's influence in global banking and foreign trade settlement is growing, something that other coins cannot achieve; only XRP can do it.
With a strong background, compliance, and enterprise focus, XRP's market cap has now exceeded 140 billion USD. Although it may not return to its former top position, overtaking Ethereum is still possible.
