The question about when Usual will officially list spot has captured everyone's attention in recent days. In community groups, USUAL has announced a tentative timeline for mid-December, but there has been no official announcement yet.
However, amidst countless speculations, USD0 is silently developing at a rapid pace before USUAL launches. Currently, if you check on CoinMarketCap, you can see that USD0 has a market capitalization of over 510 million USD (surpassing ONDO's USDY, PayPal's PYUSD, and TrustToken's TUSD). Currently, CoinMarketCap has not updated the ranking, but with a market cap of over 510 million, USD0 will take the 8th position from TUSD.
Since the beginning of the Pre-market (the Gate listing before Binance, so I consider starting from the 14th), USD0 has increased from about 345 million USD to about 510 million USD (at the time of writing), which means an increase of about 48% in approximately 18 days. And the speed is increasing as we approach the listing time.
Currently, USUAL has not yet listed spot, so its true value remains an unknown. However, the fact that USD0 has surpassed ONDO's USDY is noteworthy because both stablecoins are built on RWA, rather than algorithms or contracts. However, ONDO has had an earlier development period with many stable financial functions, so the comparison will be more difficult. At the time of writing, ONDO's market capitalization is approximately 2.31 billion USD.
