NFP Employment Report in the United States
The NFP employment report for November will be released on Friday, December 6. It will round out the parade of economic data on the state of the U.S. labor market over the past month. Economists expect the report to show a gain of more than 250,000 jobs. Currently, 33,000 Boeing employees are returning to work after strikes and Hurricane Milton.
The data will be released after core personal consumption expenditure (PCE) prices in October did not beat expectations, allowing the Fed to continue cutting interest rates next month.
“The U.S. employment report on Friday is the key event in the new week ahead of the Fed’s decision on December 18,” analysts at Deutsche Bank noted.
