Odaily Planet Daily News According to data from DePINscan's official website, Roam has officially become the project with the highest number of hardware nodes globally. With the innovative integration of DID+VC technology under the OpenRoaming™ framework and a business model that allows users to use it for free, Roam has now grown to be one of the leading projects with the largest user base in the DePIN field. As the only Web3 IDP project under the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) OpenRoaming™ program, Roam has over 4 million OpenRoaming™ WiFi nodes across more than 190 countries, along with 890,000 self-built WiFi nodes. The number of registered users has exceeded 1.55 million. Roam is committed to creating an open global wireless network and promoting the implementation of the Telecom Data Layer in the DePIN ecosystem. The new product Roam eSIM addresses the hassle of changing SIM cards and, based on user demand, not only provides Global eSIM and Add-on eSIM services but also allows users to check in at WiFi hotspots within the app to receive eSIM data for free. The eSIM solution has enabled Roam's user base to grow rapidly from 750,000 in October to 1.5 million. Additionally, one of the key modules in the Roam ecosystem—Roam Growth—will soon launch a major update focused on creating more sustainable income opportunities for network builders.
