Binance has revealed plans to support the upcoming Wise Monkey distribution, which aims to reward holders of ApeCoin and Floki. The development, which will distribute portions of the Wise Monkey (MONKY) supply, is part of a collaborative effort involving Floki, Ape Accelerator, and other prominent entities in the blockchain world to bring new energy to the crypto ecosystem. According to Binance’s announcement, the distribution will use snapshots from wallets to determine eligibility. For holders of ApeCoin (APE), the snapshot occurred on November 29 at 00:00 UTC. Meanwhile, holders of Floki (FLOKI) will get a snapshot on December 15, at 00:00 UTC. Binance confirmed that the distribution will follow a set ratio. Specifically, for every 1 FLOKI held, market participants will receive 0.35 MONKY, while every 1 APE token will be worth 804,828 MONKY. To be eligible for the distribution, users must hold at least 1 FLOKI or 1 APE. Any balances below this threshold, including those in trading, withdrawals, or deposits at the time of the snapshot, are excluded. However, commitments in margin accounts and borrowed tokens are not eligible.Wise Monkey DistributionThe Wise Monkey token draws its inspiration from the proverb “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” The meme coin will launch on the Binance Smart Chain later this month. FLOKI and APE holders will receive portions of the supply. The project plans to allocate 35% of the supply to the Floki community, with 27% to be distributed to staking on supported centralized exchanges and on-chain staking. Meanwhile, 10% of the supply will go to APE holders. Binance’s latest support follows similar moves by OKX, Uphold, and KuCoin.
