I personally invested in $XRP about 15% of what I have put into $ETH
I think XRP has strong relationships within the US institutions and if adoption expands (which many are optimistic of with changing regulation since now it looks like their legislative battle is finally coming to an end) that will make XRP a great long term play.

Additionally it seems likely an XRP ETF gets announced and approved in 2025 which depending on where we are in the cycle could be received with another chunk of inflationary price speculation .

Ethereum I have more conviction over as a long term play due to its volume of transactions/developers/L2s etc.
Even though XRP has started to make a large move already due to the sheer cheap unit price of XRP (which we know retail loves), its relevance in the news I think XRP will outperform ETH this cycle.
That being said I have recently allocated my capital to more volatile levered ETH chain tokens ($AAVE / LDO /MKR/PEPE) and not XRP for 3 reasons:

1) I am fortunate to already have some exposure to XRP which I got lucky on timing with
2) If ETH (which is a big if but I still feel good about) makes strong strides forward these other tokens will likely do as well or better than XRP
3) I plan to trade out of these positions in the short term (hopefully somewhere near peak of cycle so in the next 2-10 months).
