He posted on his commonly used social media platform, announcing that the U.S. strategic reserves would include cryptocurrencies. He pointed out that after years of criticism and attacks on the cryptocurrency industry by the Biden administration, he would sign a presidential order to promote the establishment of a cryptocurrency strategic reserve, specifically mentioning Ripple, Solana, and Cardano. He also stated that the U.S. should become the capital of the crypto world. Once the news broke, the market erupted, and the prices of Ripple, Solana, and Cardano skyrocketed. However, Trump may have realized he omitted Bitcoin and Ethereum, and two hours later, he supplemented his post, indicating that Bitcoin and Ethereum, as valuable cryptocurrencies, would be core reserves, and he is also optimistic about them.
