5 treasures worth over 2 million USD have been buried by entrepreneur Jon Collins-Black across the United States, sparking treasure hunting adventures for travelers.

Bitcoin millionaire Jon Collins Black has been passionate about fantasy games and adventures since childhood. He has buried 5 chests with a total value of over 2 million USD across the United States to encourage 'treasure hunters' to embark on more adventurous searches. He also published the book There's Treasure Inside to hint at the treasure burial points.

The idea driving Jon to inspire travelers to embark on adventures across the United States was inspired by Forrest Fenn, a wealthy businessman living in the state of New Mexico, USA, in 2010. Fenn passed away in September 2020. This millionaire revealed he had hidden gold, diamonds, jewelry, and money worth at least one million USD in the Rocky Mountains 10 years ago. Fenn spent years posting clues about the treasure's location online for people to seek. No one has found Fenn's treasure yet, but at least 5 people have died in the quest for this fortune.

Unlike Fenn, Collins Black dreams of creating something more accessible and adding optimism for the seekers. Instead of burying a treasure in the Rocky Mountains, the bitcoin millionaire divides the treasure into 5 locations across the country.

Each chapter in Collins Black's book contains clues detailing the location of one of the 5 treasure chests. The millionaire believes that anyone can find the treasure he buried just by reading the entire book. He also limited his contact with the media to avoid leaking information about the buried treasure to the public and even kept it a secret from his wife.

"I don't want them to bear this burden," Collins Black said about the heavy responsibility that those who know about the treasure must carry. Therefore, the fewer people who know, the better.

His book attracts the interest of a large number of readers. Thousands of people participate in discussions on platforms like Discord to share their reasoning. Many believe they have identified the names of the states where the treasure is located.

The bitcoin millionaire says treasure hunters need not worry about safety while searching because he does not bury them in dangerous places. People do not need to explore underwater, climb high, or break into anyone's private home.

Collins Black also collaborates with historians, participates in auctions to select unique items to place in the chest. Among them are rare Pokémon cards, gold, or items that once belonged to famous people like Pablo Picasso, George Washington, Amelia Earhart, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The most beloved treasures are the hairpin of Jackie Onassis, the wife of former US President John Kennedy who later remarried billionaire Onassis, and a 96-carat emerald.

The only item the millionaire wants to place inside the chest, but cannot buy, is Albert Einstein's pipe.

Collins Black said that no one has found the treasure yet. When someone does find it, he will announce it on the website There Treasure Inside.
