Crypto ETF inflows reach record high: $6.5 billion for Bitcoin, $1.1 billion for Ether
Inflows into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF funds have recently recorded notable highs. In November 2024, inflows into Bitcoin ETF funds reached $6.5 billion, the highest in history, surpassing the previous record of $6.2 billion set in February of the same year. This increase was driven by growing interest from institutional investors, especially against a favorable political backdrop in the US.
At the same time, Ethereum ETF funds also saw record inflows of $1.1 billion, reflecting a shift in investment from Bitcoin to Ethereum by investors. Following President Donald Trump’s election in November, many investors became confident in Ethereum's price potential, leading to increased investment in Ether-related ETF funds.
In summary, the growth of inflows into these ETF funds not only reflects increased confidence in Bitcoin and Ethereum but also signals a shift in investor sentiment within the cryptocurrency market.
