Deep Tide TechFlow News, on December 2, Japanese company Metaplanet announced a partnership with SBI VC Trade to launch a shareholder benefits plan, providing 2,350 shareholders with Bitcoin worth 30 million yen as rewards. Following the announcement, Metaplanet's stock price rose over 6%, surpassing the $2,450 level.
According to the plan, 50 shareholders will each receive Bitcoin worth 100,000 yen, 100 shareholders will each receive Bitcoin worth 30,000 yen, and 2,200 shareholders will each receive Bitcoin worth 10,000 yen. However, Metaplanet has set certain eligibility requirements to claim these rewards. Shareholders must hold at least 100 shares of Metaplanet stock before December 31, 2024. Eligible participants must open a new account with SBI VC Trade between November 18, 2024, and March 31, 2025. Registration for the event must be completed by March 31, 2025.
