When the price of Bitcoin exceeds $90,000, he predicts it could rise 30 times, reaching nearly $3 million. He explained, "Bitcoin will become the currency of the future. I don’t know if it will be five years from now, ten years, or when. But one day, you will be able to buy food, clothing, and shelter with Bitcoin, and pay taxes with Bitcoin." He also recalled his predictions about Bitcoin: "I first predicted in 2014, when the price of Bitcoin was $180. I said it would rise to $10,000 in three years. Sure enough, by the end of 2017, the price of Bitcoin reached $10,000. Since then, I haven’t been as prescient. I thought Bitcoin would reach $250,000 by 2022; I think my prediction is three years late." He attributed the delay to "the government’s weak stance, only regulating new technologies rather than encouraging them."
